I've found that whittling is quite fun. At the moment I'm making a model canoe it takes a long time to get anywhere because the wood is so hard. Next I'm going to make a spoon for cooking. Whittling is a great use of time and you get something out of it, and all you need is a pocket knife and a nice piece of wood. Oj
